5) Is it safe to use my credit card?

As a result, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit using our Website or ISP Services, and you transmit such information at your own risk. Kosher.com further does not assume responsibility for use or disclosure of your information that are the result of unauthorized or illegal access to our systems. To further secure your credit card information we do not keep the last four digits of your credit card number in our files.
If you are subject to fraudulent charges based on using our system, remember to first notify your credit card provider in accordance with their reporting rules and procedures. In general, under federal law, you will not be liable for more than $50 of fraudulent charges.

The CVV2 code is an added security feature which is widely used on the internet to prevent credit card fraud. On American Express cards, the 4-digit code is located on the front of the card. On VISA and MC, the code is the last 3 digits which appear on the back of your card, typically near the signature line (see below).
7) What type of shipping methods do you offer?
At Kosher.com, we pride ourselves on being able to deliver the freshest and finest kosher products where and when you need them. We’ve made several shipping options available to you; from “Standard Shipping”, which is available to everyone in the U.S at the same discounted rate, regardless of zip code and order content (with the exceptions of Alaska and Hawaii), to “Priority Overnight”, which can be delivered as early as 10:30 AM the next business day. When shipping within the U.S, we primarily use FedEx, and when shipping abroad or to military addresses, we ship with the United States Postal Service.
Our shipping and packaging rates are based on the following Shipping Methods:
Standard Shipping
The transit time* for Standard Shipping is up to 3 business days for perishable orders, and up to 5 business days for non perishable orders. Depending on when the order is placed, in order to prevent perishable orders from sitting in a FedEx facility over a weekend and thus extending their transit time, some perishable orders will not be shipped until the Monday following the placement of the order.

2nd Day Air
The transit time for 2nd Day Air is 2 business days (delivery by 5 PM). 2nd Day Air rates are calculated based on order content and delivery zip code, and will be quoted at checkout. 2nd Day Air Saturday Delivery is also available for an additional charge of $12.50. FedEx does not offer 2nd Day Air to all zip codes.
Standard Overnight
Standard Overnight is usually delivered by 3 PM on the day following shipping. Rates are calculated based on order content and delivery zip code, and will be quoted at checkout. FedEx does not offer Standard Overnight to all zip codes.
Priority Overnight
Priority Overnight can be delivered as early as 10:30 AM on the day following shipping. Rates are calculated based on order content and delivery zip code, and will be quoted at checkout. Priority Overnight Saturday Delivery is available for an additional charge of $12.50. FedEx does not offer Priority Overnight to all zip codes.

9) How do you calculate sales tax, if any are applicable?
Where applicable, a New York sales tax of 8.625% will be added to all orders shipped to a location within the state of New York.
10) To which countries will you ship products?
We can ship most products to anywhere in the world. Perishable items and wine cannot be shipped out of the United States. Customs and related charges are the responsibility of the customer.

12) When do I need to order something so that I receive it as quickly as possible, and how long will it take to arrive?
That depends on the product being shipped and its final destination. All orders can take one to three days to process and can take longer during holiday periods.
13) How do I find out exactly when to expect my package?
You will receive an email confirmation when your order goes out and it will include the tracking number.
14) What is a Shopping Cart and how does it work?
A Shopping Cart online is the same as the shopping cart that you would put your items in when you are in a store. It holds everything you have decided to purchase. You can always view what is in your Shopping Cart at anytime by clicking on "View Cart"
15) How do I put items in my Shopping Cart?
To add items to your Shopping Cart, just click on the button marked "Add to Shopping Cart." This item will automatically be added to your Shopping Cart.
16) How do I make changes to my Shopping Cart?
You can always add or remove items from your Shopping Cart. Just click on "View Cart" and you will see a list of what is in your cart. On this page you can, if you want to, change the items or quantity of items in your Shopping Cart in any way. You can then click on "Update" or "Checkout". Clicking on either of these buttons will automatically update your Shopping Cart to reflect any changes you made.
17) By placing Items in my Shopping Cart, does that mean that I have to buy them?
No. Adding items to your Shopping Cart does not obligate you to buy them. To remove one or more products from your Shopping Cart, click on the "Remove" link beside the quantity box.
18) How do I go to check out and pay for my products?
Just click on the word "My Cart" listed close to the top of every page. At that point you will see the list of products that you have decided to purchase. If you already logged in as a preferred member, then all the tax and shipping information will be displayed.
If you have not logged in with your password, you can then either do so, sign up to do so, or just enter your shipping and billing information, and the ordering process should be done.
19) Do you gift pack items?
In some cases gift-wrapping will be available, such as in the Chocolates
department. Just before submitting your order you will see a box for
special instructions. If you wish to have the item gift wrapped, please
make a note of it in that box. There might be a nominal fee for this
service.
20) What happens after I have put in my order?
You will receive an e-mail from us informing you that we have received your order and it is being processed. In the next few days (depending on the availability and shipping of the product), we will notify you again that your product has been shipped and is on its way to you. We will also include the tracking numbers so that you can go directly to the specific shipping carrier to track your packages.
21) Will you substitute a product if something that I ordered is unavailable?
When you set up a login account you will be asked if you want us to substitute a similar product for one that is currently unavailable. If you do not set up a login account then we will ask you whether you want us to substitute a similar product for one that is currently unavailable whenever you finish with the checkout process.
22) What is your cancellation policy?
We cannot guarantee any cancellation, once an order is submitted. If you want to change or cancel an order we encourage you to send us a prompt email to request your cancellation.

You, the customer, remain solely responsible for the kashrut of the products that you purchase and consume. Kosher.com intends to offer no product for sale that is not kosher within the meaning of traditional, normative Orthodox Jewish Law ("halacha"). We provide no kosher certification of the products we sell, nor do we make any independent warranty, guaranty, representation, or claim that the products sold on this site are kosher. We have presented items for sale on this site which we believe to be kosher within the requirements of halacha, based solely and exclusively on (a) the manufacturers' or producers' of the items representations that their items are kosher within the meaning of halacha, and/or (b) the independent certification(s) that the individual products may bear that the items are kosher within the meaning of halacha, each item according to its own certification.
Furthermore, we take no responsibility for our products' compliance with any particular stringency within halacha that you might be accustomed to follow, such as chalav yisroel or pas yisroel. These types of halachic stringencies are matters of personal taste and religious practice which kosher.com has made no attempt to comply with.
