Mrs Ungars’ honey cake – works great as cupcakes too!

Ingredients

Honey Cake

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ cup oil

  • ¾ cup honey

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp allspice

  • ½ tsp coffee

  • 1 cup hot water

mix first 5 wet ingredient

separately mix the dry ingredients

3.

add half the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix

4.

add half of the coffee mixture and mix

5.

add the rest of the dry ingredients and mix

6.

add the rest of the coffe mixture and mix

7.

bake at 350 for 45min to an hour
