3.

Wet your hands again and flatten each ball with your palm.

4.

Place the jam filling in the center of each circle and pinch the circle into a hamantasch-shaped triangle.

5.

Bake at 350°F for 12 minutes, until the edges begin to brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool on the pan.

This is the WORST. The “dough” fell apart when trying to form a ball and flatten it out. Probably too much OIL.

I’ll try this next time.. https://www.myjewishlearning.com/the-nosher/gluten-free-sugar-free-hamantaschen-recipe/

Yield Thanks for the recipe. When following the 1-in ball guidelines, how many hamantaschen does one full recipe create? Approximately 1 dozen or 2?

Thanks!

Gluten – free Hamantaschen I really want to try this for my “gluten-frees”. What can be the substitution for agave syrup? Can this be frozen? Thanks!

It depends on what your sweetener criteria is. Is it for health reasons or taste.

Both. I hesitate to use agave because we have diabetics in the family and I know it is not recommened .(I know, a diabetic shouldn’t be eating these things, but face it, they do on occasion. My “glutens” do not have that added condition, but I stay away from. I also would lie to know if these are freezer friendly? Thanks again. I really enjoy Kosher.com. Thanks to all of you who make it really fun.

glad you’re finding this recipe useful. Depending on why you need to substitute the agave syrup, you can use either equivalent amount of brown rice syrup or applesauce. and they can certainly be frozen. Enjoy!

Thank you! I have five” gluten free ” children and grandchildren, and I really try always to have comparible “goodies” to the regular “goodies”. I look forward to sharing this with my daughters, who need these alternatives for their families. I will bli neder let you know how they turn out.

They taste great but didn’t hold the shape very well:( does it make sense the dough was very sticky?
