Make extra of the garlic and spread it on challah (or bread). Trust me this roasted garlic becomes an addiction!

Ingredients

Main ingredients

Directions

For the salad

1.

Prepare oven to 400°F. Prepare a small bowl (that is oven-safe) with the garlic, vinegar, honey salt and olive oil. Place in oven and cook for 30 minutes or until garlic is soft.

2.

Place lettuce, orange, avocado in a salad bowl. Remove garlic from oven and squeeze in the juice from the orange core. Mix together. Pour onto salad and mix well.

Tips:

If you can buy already peeled garlic, it is ideal for this.

Allthingsyhwh.com – Roasted Garlic Sa;ad When the author says remove the garlic, what does Chef Zissie mean by “squeezing the juice from the orange core?” I didn’t think the orange core had that much juice!

I don’t think it means there is THAT much juice. Just that it’s a shame to waste what there is. Also, oranges come in different sizes. The higher the number on the sticker the smaller the orange. So a 72 size is small and a 48 is a bigger one. Go for the larger ones.
