There’s nothing as tasty as soft, braised short ribs. They practically melt off the bone and disappear before your eyes. Don’t count on any leftovers when doing your meal planning.
4 pounds (1.8 kilogram) spare ribs
1/2 cup Gefen Honey
3 tablespoons Glicks Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 clove garlic, crushed or 1 cube Gefen Frozen Garlic
1 cup Manischewitz Chicken Broth or 1 cup boiling water plus 1 teaspoon chicken soup powder
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Lay ribs in a large roaster pan. Combine all marinade ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Mix well then pour over ribs.
Cover and marinate for 1 hour at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (170 degrees Celsius). Bake ribs for two– two and 1/2 hours, turning occasionally.
