Grilled Trout with Walnuts and Maple Syrup

  • 4 large, skinless fillets trout or sea bream

Directions

Prepare the Fish

1.

Cut each fish fillet in half lengthwise.

2.

Combine all the seasoning ingredients in a small bowl and spread over the fish.

3.

Roll up each piece jelly-roll style and close with a toothpick. Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).

4.

Remove the fish rolls from the oven and sprinkle with chopped walnuts and maple syrup. Return to the oven and bake for three more minutes.

Notes:

This dish is best kept warm on the blech.
