    How to prepare cholent for Shabbos Teshuvah this year

    HI, I would prefer to just leave my hot plat on for Rosh Hashana - and not leave any fires on on the stove. I'm wondering how I will manage though with my cholent for Shabbos coming right after Rosh Hashana. I usually cook my cholent on the stove before I put it on the hot plate. should I cook it before Yom Tov and leave it in the fridge - and then put it on the hot plate on Friday? will it stay fresh that way? should I cook it before Yom Tov and freeze it and then put it on the hot plate on Friday? can I cook it directly on a hot plate like Friday morning? Will it get done and not spoil? I'm wondering how are women are dealing with this dilemma. thanks.
