Need to Let Milk Cool Before Adding Yeast
These were featured in the Family First last year. I tried it but it didn't work out- didn't rise... Originally I was skeptical to add yeast to hot milk, but I figured I would follow the recipe. I then realized that this must have been left out/not clear. Heat kills the yeast. The temp must be warm. Either the milk should only be brought to a warm temp originally or the milk needs to cool before continuing. Happy Chanuka!
