I made this in the oven on a low temperature for about 1-1/2 hours. It came out terrific. It reminds me of when I was little and my mom used to make it. I didn’t have apple juice so I used about 1/2 cup of water. I also didn’t have whole cloves so I sprinkled a pinch of powered cloves into the water. I’m definitely going to make it again.
