I followed the recipe EXACTLY only to find that the dough was a little sticky. After adding a 1/4 cup additional flour it still appeared sticky. I covered it at this point to let it rise. Once risen, the dough was still sticky, but was managable. Try not to add too much flour. I divided the dough into 4 and made two smaller babkas. One for shabbos one I froze for later! Was so worth the effort.
