Thank G-d our Sukkot was truly beautiful. But that didn’t take away from the feeling of breathing easy once I finally did get back to work. (I’m blessed to love my job!) Back to work, back to school, you know how routine can be a relief, especially when you’ve been without it.

This week on Kosher.com, we are focusing on getting back to daily life. Back to Balance with Rorie—so we can finally get back into a good meal/snack regimen without all the extra babkas sitting around. And back to dinner routine, like this roundup of our favorite chicken dinners

But the beauty of starting fresh after a long, lovely holiday season is that the supper that usually makes the kids say “oh, it’s chicken and rice again…” now will be a breath of fresh air for them too! (Give it another week or two…) The good news is that Kosher.com will always have more easy dinner ideas than you can ever make!

Happy cooking!

Super Salmon by Brynie Greisman

Basil and garlic- why not use the two together on salmon? This salmon recipe will come out superb. Succulent, flavorful, and a pleasure to put together.

Saucy Crockpot Chicken by Brynie Greisman

Great combo of flavors here. The seasoning is subtle but tasty. Serve over rice, bulgur, quinoa, or mashed sweet potatoes.

Garlic-Rosemary Chicken Peppers by Chayie Schlisselfeld

Who doesn’t love a bag full of colorful mini peppers? Prep the night before and let it marinate, then quickly grill these little guys up for a healthy, colorful side dish!

Apple-Cranberry Bake by Rivky Kleiman

This is not just another apple cranberry bake. It takes the ordinary and makes it extraordinary.

Basic Marble Cake from the Nitra Cookbook

This easy parve marble cake recipe will give you pretty and elegant results every time. There’s no time like the present, though, since people worldwide make marble cake this week as a “punny” way to remember the mabul (flood) in this week’s Parshat Noach!
