Shabbat Menu- Lightened Up
Healthy food and comfort food might sound mutually exclusive, but they are pretty much my menu goals and mainstays. Getting some of each onto the table is obvious, but combining the two is a serious challenge.
This week we are trying to grab the two-in-one bite. An awesome apple crisp you keep picking at the edges of (you know, to make it neat), a chicken with delicious fruit and veggie stuffing, and that bone-warming goodness from a not-quite-potato kugel.
