You might think that I spend my days and nights in the kitchen exploring and churning out one awesome dish after the next.

I wouldn’t exactly call my family the proverbial “shoemaker’s kids,” but I would say that the food that comes out of my kitchen on a regular weeknight actually requires little thought and is certainly not time-consuming. It’s always delicious because it has great flavor combos and is cooked well, but it doesn’t require that much effort. 

 

Now, there’s another talent unto itself- actually picking out great recipes and making them correctly. So If you don’t intuitively get flavor combos, and you want to trust a recipe and run with it, well, that’s what this roundup is for.
