That’s why we asked YOU for chestnut recipes that you and your loved ones would love. We got some great submissions, but there can only be one winner of a case of Alexander Valley Cabernet. • Butternut Squash Roasted Chestnut Soup by Riva Fogel

  
  2 tablespoons oil for sautéing
  2 Vidalia onions, diced
  4 carrots, diced
  1 head of celery, diced
  2 (5.2-ounce) bags Gefen Chestnuts, diced
  2 large butternut squash, cubed
  1 McIntosh apple, peeled and chopped
  salt and pepper, to taste
  4 cups chicken stock
