1/4 cup chocolate sesame butter
1 malawach round
1 egg
turbinado sugar, for sprinkling
crushed pistachios (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove wrapping from malawach round and place on a Gefen Parchment sheet. Allow malawach to thaw slightly. Spread with chocolate sesame spread.
Once it has thawed enough, cut circle into eight to 12 equal triangles and roll up to form rugelach.
Brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar. Sprinkle with pistachios if desired.
Bake for 12-13 minutes.
