Almond Milk

An easy method of preparing almond milk right at home.

Directions

Prepare the Milk

1.

Soak almonds in one cup cold water overnight.

 

2.

Drain and remove brown skin from almonds. Blend almonds with one cup water. Strain through cheesecloth.

 

Notes:

When serving with a fleishig meal, the halacha is to place a few whole almonds into the almond milk to show it is not regular milk.
