Ingredients

Apple-Cinnamon Almond Butter Cups

  • 2 cups oats

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 and 1/4 teaspoons Gefen Cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1 medium apple, peeled and diced

Directions

1.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a muffin pan with muffin cups.

In a medium-sized bowl, combine applesauce, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla sugar, and almond butter.

Add milk and mix until smooth and combined.

4.

Add oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until combined.

5.

Add apple and mix.

6.

Divide batter among muffin cups. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.

Notes:

Refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months; thaw in the refrigerator or at room temperature for 1–2 hours before serving. To refresh after refrigeration or freezing, warm briefly in a 300-degree-Fahrenheit (150-degree-Celsius) oven for 5 minutes.
