With fresh apples grated into the ice cream batter, this recipe is tart and sweet and definitely different.
Place sugar into mixing bowl. Grate apples into sugar to prevent discoloration.
Add egg whites and salt. Beat until light and fluffy.
Add grated chocolate, mixing lightly.
Serve immediately or freeze.
For a firmer consistency, add four egg yolks to the mixture, and freeze.
