Fluffy white rice with just the right complement of Asian flavors and a bit of black sesame seeds. This easy dish comes together with very little prep and goes right into the oven!
I created this recipe together with my oven pepper steak. Both dishes are prep and bake for a simple dinner that can be frozen and heated later. This rice is also delicious with other Asian favorites as a side. You can even use the rice to make your own fried rice or stir fry! This is a recipe you’ll want to keep on hand.
2 cups basmati rice, rinsed
2 tablespoons oil
3 cups water
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Gefen Sesame Oil
1 teaspoon black sesame seeds (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add basmati rice, oil, water to eight- by eight-inch pan. Stir.
Cover and bake at 350º for one hour.
Toss cooked rice with rice wine vinegar, sesame oil and black sesame seeds (if using).
