From Sarah Leah
12 honey graham crackers
1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp vanilla sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
13 1/2 oz (100-g) bar Noblesse chocolate, chopped (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
2. Cut graham crackers into your desired shape (see tip below). Lay graham crackers facedown on prepared baking sheet.
3. In a small saucepan, combine margarine, brown sugar, vanilla extract, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon. Melt over medium-low heat until mixture is smooth and slightly thickened.
4. Brush the bottom of each cracker with caramel sauce. Turn the crackers over and brush the tops with additional caramel sauce. Bake for 10-15 minutes
5. Place the chopped chocolate in a ziplock bag Place the bag in hot water to melt the chocolate. Snip off a corner of the bag and drizzle melted chocolate over the graham crackers, if desired, Serve with ice cream or fresh fruit, or turn the crackers into ice cream sandwiches
TIP
You can prepare each cracker as a whole, half, or sliced on a diagonal for a beautiful effect. Whichever way you choose, be sure to use a very sharp knife to cut them.
