Ingredients

Chicken on the Bone MARSALA

  • 1.5 lb drumsticks

  • flour for dredging

  • oil

  • 8oz mushrooms sliced

  • 1/2 onion chopped finely

  • 3 frozen garlic cubes

  • ½ c marsala wine

  • ½ c low sodium chicken broth

  • salt pepper to taste

preheat oven to 375

2.

roll chicken in flour (while oil is heating up in pan)

3.

pan sear chicken 5 mins each side (golden brown)

4.

remove chicken and set aside

5.

saute garlic and onions 5 mins

6.

add mushrooms, saute 5 mins

7.

add marsala wine until reduced a bit (abt 3 mins)

8.

add soup broth salt, pepper (abt 3 mins)

9.

add chicken and sauce to pan

10.

bake 20-30 mins
