With so many meals this season, everyone can use an easy, hearty meat dish sure to please the whole family. I tested it with several cuts of meat that work well with braising, and they all came out perfect!
Directions
Prepare the Classic Yom Tov Roast
1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit (120 degrees Celsius).
2. Season the meat with salt and spices and place in a 9×13-inch (23×33-centimeter) baking pan.
3. Mix all the sauce ingredients and pour over meat. Cover baking pan well with aluminum foil.
4. Bake for six to eight hours, until tender. After six hours, check on meat every 30 minutes for doneness.
