Colorful Cherry Tomato Tart

Ingredients

Crust

  • 2 and 1/2 cups Glicks Flour

  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons sugar

  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 cup milk

Filling

  • 4 cups colored cherry tomatoes, sliced in half

  • 1–2 red onions, sliced in half rings

  • 1 teaspoon Haddar Dijon Mustard

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • pepper to taste

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (I like Chef’s Blend)

Directions

1.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a nine-inch round pan.

2.

In a bowl, mix together crust ingredients. Press into the pan. Bake for 15 minutes and cool.

3.

In a bowl, combine filling ingredients. Pour into the cooled crust and bake for 30 minutes.

4.

Serve hot or at room temperature.

The recipe for the dough does not call for any oil or butter, is it supposed to?
