Submitted by Sweettestbee This is a chicken recipe that uses the basic ingredients most people have stocked in their house. You can leave put a component or two, and it will still come out tasting great.
sliced peppers
mushrooms if you like, or other veggies you enjoy in a chicken dish
chicken thighs
tomato sauce, or any pizza sauce you have
mustard, a few squeezes
maple syrup, honey, or brown sugar
garlic powder, pepper, some salt
sliced onions
Clean chicken and lay in pan.
Add slices of onions, peppers, and other veggies that you want to add to the dish.
Mix sauce ingredients and pour over the chicken and vegetables.
Bake for about 1 hour on 350 covered, and uncover for another 30 minutes to an hour. You can also bake at a higher temperature, at about 415, for 1 to 1.5 hours.
