It smells like gefilte fish, tastes like gefilte fish! You wont believe this isn’t gefilte fish.
1/2 pound ground chicken
1 potato, cooked and mashed
1 egg
1 small onion, grated
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 carrot
1 small onion, sliced
Combine chicken with remaining ingredients. Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes.
Shape chicken into small balls and drop into boiling water.
Cook over medium heat for one hour.
Combine all ingredients for broth in six-quart pot and bring to a boil.

Falsche Fish Can this dish be frozen?
If not, how many days will it last in the refridgerator?
At least a week.
I have to make a comment on this recipe. My grandmother used to make these secret recipe gefilte fish balls. She would not give out the recipe to ANYONE! She swore my mother to secrecy and when my mother passed away and I looked through her recipes, I found note after note swearing the family to secrecy….so…. I guess will have to start a law suit agains your website LOL. DELICIOUS!
