I know so many people get bored with their salmon recipes. This recipe is a little similar to teriyaki salmon but different enough that it counts as a different dish. No one will guess there is apple pie filling in this recipe!
1 side of salmon (with or without skin)
1 cup Gefen Apple Pie Filling (chop the apple pieces so that the flavor is more distributed)
1 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
2 tablespoons Glicks Soy Sauce
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
3 cubes Gefen Frozen Ginger
sliced scallions, for garnish
Wash and dry the salmon and place on a baking sheet lined with Gefen Parchment Paper.
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and slather on the fish.
Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 to 25 minutes depending on how well done you like your fish.Serve warm sprinkled with sliced scallions.
