1 (21-ounce) can Gefen Cherry Pie Filling
1 (15-ounce) can sour pitted cherries
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 egg
Bring first four ingredients to a boil, cook for five minutes.
Beat egg well. Add thin stream of boiling liquid to egg, beating vigorously to avoid curdling.
Add egg to cherry soup, mix well.
Serve chilled.
