1 cup white basmati rice
1 and 1/2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
Heat up the Betty Crocker. When fully heated, add the rice, water, and salt. Close the lid.
Cook for eight minutes, then unplug the Betty and let the rice steam with the lid closed another five minutes.

can i do it with brown basmati rice also? is the water the same ratio as white basmati? and can i use a parchment paper?
