Ingredients
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
• 3/4 cup butter, room temperature
• 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup key lime juice
• 4 large eggs
• lime zest
• 3-4 drops green food coloring
• lime slices for optional garnish
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2
Using a mixer or a large bowl, Fully combine 1 1/4 cups flour, graham cracker crumbs, butter, and confectioners sugar to form dough.
Step 3
Evenly press dough into an ungreased 13×9 inch baking pan. Work gently but firmly. Bake until just golden, 20-25min.
Step 4
Meanwhile, whisk together the sugar, key lime juice, remaining 1/4 cup flour, eggs, lime zest, and food coloring until very evenly mixed.
Step 5
Carefully remove the crust from the oven when done and pour key lime mix over hot crust. Place the pan back into the oven to bake until set, around 20-25 min.
Step 6
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
Step 7
Cut into bas Dust with confectioners sugar and garnish with thin slices of lime if you like. Enjoy!
