Basic rice and lentils
1 cup lentils
brown rice or Jasmin rice
avocado oil
dash salt
diced onion
low-fat Greek yogurt, for topping
Wash your lentils well in cold water.
Boil 1 cup lentils and 4 cups water. Cook on medium flame.
Add rice, oil, and salt. Cook on medium temperature till rice and lentils are all incorporated and there are no liquids. Sauté onion. Serve with plain Greek yogurt.
