Mexican-Style Beef with Kasha

An easy, one-pot supper made with basic ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen.

Directions

Prepare the Beef

1. Brown beef, onion, celery and pepper in oil until meat and vegetables are tender. Stir in kasha. Add remaining ingredients.
2. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes until tender, adding more liquid if necessary.    

Variations:

To spice it up, add a cup of salsa and some diced chipotles.
