Mini Chip Crisps


If you prefer your cookies crispy, you’ll want to give these a try. The oats and Rice Krispies cereal give these cookies a satisfying crunchy texture.



1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease
2. baking sheets and set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, beat margarine
4. and sugars until well blended.
5. In a medium bowl, sift in flour, salt,
6. baking powder, and baking soda; mix.
7. Alternately add dry mixture and liquid
8. ingredients (water or juice and vanilla)
9. to the margarine mixture. Gradually add
10. oatmeal, Rice Krispies, and chocolate chips
11. into the mixture.
12. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 1
13. inches (4 cm) apart, onto prepared baking
14. sheets. Bake for 15 minutes.
