When it comes to Shabbat food I make the same thing week after week but each time I change up the recipes a bit. These green beans by far are a family favorite and make the cut week after week.
2 lb. green beans
2 cubes frozen sautéed onions
handful of cherry tomatoes (cut in half)
handful of garlic cloves (cut in half)
honey
salt & pepper
olive oil
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Trim the ends off of the green beans and lay them out on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper and give it a toss to coat.
Crumble the frozen onion cubes over the top of the green beans.
Place the tomatoes and garlic cloves around the green beans and drizzle a small amount of honey over the top.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until ends start to brown.
