Ingredients

pastrami cabbage frittata

  • 2 Tablespoon oil

  • 1 sweet onion

  • 1 bag green cabbage

  • 1 package pastrami cold cuts

  • 3 Table spoons sugar

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 2 Tablespoon ketchup

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 1 Tablespoon oil

  • 5 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

preheat oven on 350°

in a frying pan, put diced onion and saute in oil until translucent

add cabbage plus all other ingredients besides eggs and pastrami. saute until cabbage shrinks to half the size and most of the liquid is absorbed, about 15 minutes. Dice pastrami and add to pan. let simmer another 5 minutes mixing occasionally.

put 5 eggs into an oven to table dish. beat eggs with a fork. add salt and pepper to taste. dilute the cornstarch with a drop of water and then pour it into the egg mixture. mix well. pour cabbage pastrami mixture into the eggs and combine well.

5.

put in the oven for 25 minutes.
