Ingredients

Penne a la Vodka

  • 1 lb Penne Pasta

  • 2 Tbs Butter

  • 1 or 2 onions

  • 2 cup Heavy Cream

  • 1/3 cup Vodka

  • 1 32 oz. can Crushed Tomatoes

  • 2 Tbs Sugar

  • 1 Tbs Garlic Powder

  • 1 tsp Salt

Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and keep warm. While pasta is cooking, prepare sauce. Hear butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add onions. Cook until transparent, about 5 minutes. Add heavy cream, Vodka, Crushed Tomatoes and sugar. Simmer sauce for five minutes. Season with Garlic powder and salt.

Pour sauce over pasta and serve immediately.
