Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 1 pound)

Directions

To prepare salmon

1.

Preheat oven to 350°F.

2.

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, mustard, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper. The mixture will have a creamy consistency.

3.

Place salmon fillets in a baking pan. Spoon marinade on top of each fillet.

4.

Let marinate at least 15 minutes or up to overnight.

5.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes.

Tips:

Can be served hot or at room temperature. If you’re making dinner in advance, but want this to come fresh out of the oven when dinner is ready, first bake 15 minutes, then bake additional 5 minutes just before serving.

Covered or Uncovered Does this recipe call for the salmon to be baked covered or uncovered?

It seems to me that since it doesn’t instruct one to cover it, it’s uncovered. Which makes sense as far as the short cook time. Covering it might steam it too much.
