Savory BBQ and umami flavors infused in your favorite steaks. This tasty marinade is gluten-free, paleo and great on all types of steak. You will need to marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
Whisk together all of the ingredients.
Dip your steaks on both sides, then place in a pan or a zip-lock bag.
Pour over the remaining marinade. Seal the zip-lock bag or cover your pan with plastic wrap. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes and up to overnight. Be sure to flip your steaks once during the marinating time.
Steaks can be grilled, baked or pan-fried right out of the marinade with no additional oil needed. Discard any excess marinade.
The fattier or more grisly the steak, the longer you should marinate it. The acids in the marinade will help break down those tough connective tissues.
