This bowl is perfect for when you want a hot supper when you get home from work. Packed with beef and vegetables all cooked in the slow cooker, this might become your new favorite supper.
2 tablespoons oil
1 pound ground beef
1 red bell pepper, cut into matchsticks
1 yellow pepper, cut into matchsticks
2 carrots, cut into matchsticks
4 scallions, cleaned and sliced
4 cloves garlic, crushed or 4 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
4 cups Manischewitz Vegetable or beef broth
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
2 (3-ounce) packets Gefen Ramen
Heat oil in a large skillet.
Sauté beef over medium heat until cooked through.
Add it to the slow cooker along with vegetables.
In a small bowl, combine sesame oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, broth, and hot sauce, if using.
Pour mixture over vegetables and cook on low for six hours.
Add ramen noodles to the slow cooker 20 minutes before serving.
Serve immediately.
