An upscale version of a s’mores. They are a perfect party dessert.
2 cups of graham cracker crumbs, finely crushed
6 Tbl of margarine, melted
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
12 oz of dark chocolate, chopped
1 and 1/2 cups of Rich’s whip/non dairy creamer, defrosted
3 Tbl. of margarine, cubed
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 large egg whites
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Glass/Plastic trifle cups
Line up the cups you using on a tray.
Place a spoonful of crust in each cup and flatten. Then pour in the chocolate mixture till 2/3 of the way full in each cup.
Chill cups for about 30 minutes so the filling can set. Once the filling is set, take out them out of the fridge and pipe a rosette of meringue on to each cup. (If you don’t have a pastry bag or a tip, a spoon works just as well)
Torch the top of each rosette until lightly toasted.
