spelt from malky tunk
1.5 bags flour (spelt) blue lagoon is best (Never use marriges for Challa)
1 tablespoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup oil
2oz fresh yeast (1bag)
4 eggs
2.5 cups water
Put in 1/2 packet flour into machine bowl
Then take another container put yeast and sugar and 1cup of lukewarm/warmish water
Rest of ingredients pour into flour bowl (except the other flour)
Then mix it all … Should be runny
Then add another half bag packet flour… And mix till thick…
Then pour in yeast mixture. And then half a packet of flour (might need slightly more if to sticky but see for yourself)
Leave on mixing for 15 mins
Take dough out and put in bag… Let rise for at least 2 hours… Keep bashing down when reaches top and let it rise again
When braiding, each big challa should weigh the same to get even amounts…
Braid it..
Let rise again
Put egg seseme …
Put in oven on 100 degrees for 20 min (If want it to rise even higher put it on 100 for longer)
Then 180- depending on oven… for 20 mins
And then a few mins on 200 to get really crispy..
