  • 2 c flour

  • 2/3 c sugar

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 1/2 sticks Marg

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tap vanilla

mix first 3 ing

blend in rest

make into dough. divide in 4.

roll each quarter to a roll about 1″ thick.

5.

lay on ungreased baking sheet. make indent in center with wooden handle.

6.

fill with jam.

7.

bake 20 min on 350 till golden ( not hard)

8.

let cool. when still soft, cut into 1″ bars
