any 2 chocolate cakes (store-bought or homemade)
6 egg whites
3/4 cup of sugar
1 pack of instant vanilla pudding
melted chocolate
blackcurrant jam
your favorite chocolate liquor
1/4 cup chocolate chips + 1 teaspoon oil
Beat the egg whites and sugar until it starts to resemble a cream.
Slowly add in the instant pudding mix, about 1/3 at a time, and beat until incorporated and very shiny. The pudding mix takes the taste from a meringue type cream to a whipped topping taste, but better. Fold melted chocolate into half of the cream.
Take one chocolate cake and place on your serving platter. Add a few drops of chocolate liquor.
Spread a thin layer of jam onto the cake. Spread a layer of chocolate cream, followed by a layer of whipped cream.
Place the second layer on top. Sprinkle a little bit of chocolate liquor on the cake, and spread another thin layer of jam.
Then, spread some chocolate cream; followed by some whipped cream. Make sure that your top layers of cream are nice and thick.
Put your chocolate chips and oil into a bag, and place the bag into boiling water for a few minutes. Cut off the corner of your melted chocolate, and pipe the shape of a Menorah.
Using the extra blackcurrant jam, place a little bit on top of each branch to resemble a flame.
Place a few chocolate coins on either side of the Menorah.
