Ally Mawhirter

Ally Mawhirter is a classically trained chef and the recipe developer/photographer/food stylist behind the blog @tzimmesandcitrus. Originally from Kansas City, she has worked in bakeries and restaurants, operated a wedding cake business, and now works in the hospitality industry in NYC. She is passionate about colorful, fresh, and satisfying home cooking with a sprinkle of sweets...for balance. Ally loves developing recipes that are simple to make but look and feel special, with a focus on whole foods and fresh ingredients. She currently lives in Fair Lawn, NJ with her husband.
