Mary Valentino

Mary Valentino founded Emma's Sweets (named after her daughter Emma) in 2013 while working in the financial industry. Working in a stressful environment allowed no time to express her creativity, so she had to find an outlet to do so. Mary took the Wilton Cake Decorating Courses that summer and discovered a love for royal icing and cookie decorating. That eventually turned into a full time business where she created beautifully decorated cookies for customers and their special events. In 2018, Mary competed on Food Network's Christmas Cookie Challenge and took home the championship! Her cookie decorating career quickly shifted and she began teaching classes in person and online to thousands of people who wanted to learn this amazing craft.
