She is co-author of Grains as Mains: Modern Recipes Using Ancient Grains and writes a monthly cooking column for Bangor Metro magazine. She was named the 2015 Maine local columnist of the year by the Maine Press Association. Her food blog, Sarah’s Cucina Bella, has been delighting readers with a unique blend of life and food writing since it was founded in 2005. She’s a graduate of Barnard College and lives in Maine with her two kids.
