You won’t believe this recipe until you try it – processing a frozen banana yields a creamy texture not unlike ice cream. It’s naturally sweet, and so delicious you’ll find yourself saving frozen bananas for this recipe instead of smoothies. (The one downside is that this recipe is best eaten fresh, and doesn’t store well.)
3 bananas
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons Gefen Honey or maple syrup
Slice the bananas into evenly-sized coins and freeze for at least 2 hours or preferably overnight.
In a food processor fitted with the S-blade, pulse all the ingredients. A crumbly mixture will form, but keep pulsing until everything comes together and becomes creamy, approximately two to three minutes.
