Diets An incredible, all-purpose, spicy snack.
2 large onions, sliced into thick rings
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup beer
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon meatball seasoning (if you don’t have meatball seasoning, try a combo of dried parsley and oregano)
salt, to taste
white pepper, to taste
1 cup Gefen Panko Crumbs
oil, for deep-frying
Combine the flour, egg, beer, and spices in a bowl. Mix well.
Place the panko crumbs on a separate plate.
Separate the onion slices into rings. Heat oil in a frying pan for deep-frying.
Dip each ring into the flour mixture and then into the plate of crumbs and deep-fry for a few minutes.

what can i substituent beer for?
Liquids like apple cider, milk, and water can work as beer substitutions in a pinch. They’re not ideal choices, but they can help if you’re all out of options. Soda can work too!
