Stir the peaches, sugar, and almond extract together and allow to thaw on the counter or in the fridge. The sugar will draw out the moisture from the peaches and create a delicious syrup.
Stir topping ingredients together until crumbly.
Pour the peaches and their syrup into a cast iron skillet, spreading evenly. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the peaches and place on a preheated grill over medium heat. Close the lid and “bake” 25 minutes. Remove CAREFULLY to a wooden board – the cast iron skillet will be extremely hot.
Enjoy immediately with parve vanilla ice cream.

a bit disappointing to be honest. I did it in the oven and it was meh
if you use fresh peaches, what adjustment, if any, is needed?
You'll need about 7 fresh peaches. No other adjustments are necessary.
This desert is amazing, the perfect ending for a delicious BBQ!!
