For the Dough
Stir the crumbled yeast and one tablespoon sugar into the warm milk until dissolved and let it activate.
Combine the flour, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Make a well in the center, pour the activated yeast, and gently mix it by hand.
Add the butter and egg and mix until a smooth dough forms.
Cover it with a towel and let it rise for 45 minutes to an hour. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line two baking sheets with
parchment paper.

Im not understanding...... Instructions saiys to vut un half width and length.... Thats 4 parts, How do you get to 10 portions?
Correct, according to the instructions you'd only get 8 pieces- 8 inches each. Also, if you want to make them smaller, you could divide the dough into 3 pieces and then you'd get more.
Which sticks are good to use for these babka sticks?
I would buy grill bamboo skewers
