Directions

Croutons

  1. Heat oil in large skillet set over medium heat. Add bread cubes; cook, stirring, for about four minutes or until crusty and nicely browned on all sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Vinaigrette

  1. In small bowl, whisk together garlic, salt, pepper, mustard and vinegar. In thin stream, gradually whisk in oil until emulsified.

To Serve

  1. When ready to serve, toss lettuce and croutons with dressing. Serve immediately.

Notes:

Dressing can be refrigerated in an airtight jar for up to one week.
